Thanksgiving Tradition Starting Here

Gamma must have Tryptophan as perfume, because I don't just sleep anywhere.  Get my belly full and have Gamma snuggle with me and this happens!  I just love my Gamma!

Rolling Over and Wireless

I'm now rolling over from back to front.  As much as Mommy and Daddy want me to be on my back in bed, they wake up to find me on my belly.  I like it better that way.  I prefer to be swaddled until I fall asleep, but then I wiggle my way out and flip over.

Oh!  Another thing.  The doctor says my apnea monitor test results came back so good that it's no longer needed!  YEA!  I'm free!!!

Swimming

I'm not really sure about this swimming stuff, but Mom and Dad put me in this yellow thing and had me floating around in it.  As long as I don't get splashed in the face and the water is warm, I'm okay with things.

Many visitors and well wishers

I'm a popular dude!  There were lots of visitors that came by to see me.  Of course, big sister thought they were there to see her as well.  Our church family has been amazing about bringing dinners for us for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!  It was a wonderful blessing not only the food, but the fellowship.  Here are some of our visitors.....:

Pastor Wayne & Janet Marburger are wonderful friends.  We love visiting with them.

Ann Aird was nice enough to bring me and Traci a gift along with food!  What a blessing!

Irene Grant is always up for holding babies.  She's a wonderful person inside and out with a heart of gold.

Jeff & Jan McMillen.  We haven't seen them in a long time.  What an insprational family.

Karen Waymack gave me the coolest teddy bear that hooks to my diaper bag.  It teaches CPR and what to do if I choke.

KK Dalton is an honest to goodness sweetheart thru and thru.  It was so good to visit with her.

Linda Nicely is such a great friend.  I cannot say enough good things about her and Ben.  We are blessed to have them in our lives.  Ben grows the BEST sweet corn and I have not ever had a bad meal from Linda!  She has an encyclopedia of recipes in her head.

It took two days, but Mommy finally got to hold and feed me for the first time today.  I'm still learning to suck, swallow AND breathe..... and try to keep my oxygen levels up.

....but we eventually got the hang of it !

I had a hard time learning to suck, swallow AND breathe at first.  After a short stint with an NG tube, I finally learned.  Now, if I could keep my O2 levels up I can get outta this joint!

Hospital Here We Come!

Here's the happy family on delivery day at 39 weeks gestation. 

We rode up in Oma's car (she would join us later with big sister Traci).

Mommy was so ready for this day to come and so excited to see our little guy.
